Prime Time Drills

New boot goofin’ with this prime time drill

Plyo toe taps are what I call a prime time drill. Prime time drills are great in warm up or on recovery days. Simply because they are low intensity, relatively low impact but still require you to react quickly.

Here all you need is an elevated surface, plyo box or benches work great.

1. Jump up to the box

2. Baby split to toe tap the box

3. Both feet land at the same time

4. Be quick off the ground

This teaches the body to pick up “slack” in the system. Trains foot/ankle stiffness. Transfers power through the kinetic chain. All priming the nervous system for whatever comes next. Give this a try to spice up you warm ups & recovery days
