Chiropractic FAQ
Is Chiropractic safe?
Yes, Chiropractic is safe. People like to say that Chiropractors and neck adjustments cause strokes. Research from Penn State University’s Hershey Medical Center Department of Neurology has shown “There is no convincing evidence to support a causal link between chiropractic manipulation and CAD” (cervical artery dissection). They further go on to say that the idea of chiropractic neck manipulations causing CAD is “medical dogma”. Their research has also shown that the association of chiropractor visits and VBA (vertebrobasilar accidents) was no more likely than following an appointment with your primary care physician.
